Today, my boyfriend and I were choosing animals that reminded us of eachother. I said he reminded me of a tiger because he is really muscular. He told me I reminded him of a zebra. When I asked him why, he said it was because of my stretchmarks. FML
Today, my boyfriend noticed dark lines that look like scars on my inner thighs. He confronted me about them, thinking I was cutting myself, and now wants me to see a therapist because he thinks I'm suicidal. They're stretch marks. He won't believe me. FML
Today, while changing my clothes, my 3 year-old daughter informed me that I looked like a zebra. Noticing my shocked face, she tried comforting me by telling me I was a pretty zebra because I was a purple zebra. She was talking about my stretch marks. FML
Today, I showed my boyfriend the new tattoo of a butterfly that I'd gotten on my lower back. He said, "It looks like it's flying when your rolls jiggle." FML
Today, I was talking to my boyfriend, feeling pretty low. I said something along the lines of, "You like me even when I look like shit." He replied, "Ah, that's just how you naturally look." FML
Today, I was with my boyfriend and I said that I was self-conscious of my acne. He told me that only one of my zits was noticeable and that it wasn't so bad. In fact he said it looked cool, like a bullet wound or something "awesome" like that. FML
Today, I was feeling a bit insecure about my body, and I told my boyfriend I don't know how he can even stand to have sex with me. He replied, "I know, right?" FML
Today, I walked into my bathroom to my boyfriend bragging about how much better his butt looked than mine, all while wearing my jeans. FML
Today, my boyfriend encouragingly told me that he could tell I was losing weight, all because I had one roll fewer than usual on my stomach. FML
Today, my husband called me “my little zebra”. I gave birth a month ago, and I’ve kept a few stretch marks. FML

I have stretch marks on my hips and my exes both said they look like tiger stripes. I didn't take offense to it lol.

So, he's trying make you better. What did you want him to say? That they.didn't exsist? You should've had a little self control in the first place if you new it was gunna bother you so much. Just be grateful he loves you for who you are and stop complaining. Plenty of women would love to have a suppprtive and lovong boyfriend, or one at all for that matter. So, you should really stop complaining before you loose him to someone who might acctually appreciate him.

Self control does not always have a part in stretch marks, if that's what you mean...you can't really help them if yer having a bebe...

He was just trying to make you smile. I'm sure if he loves you, he loves everything about you. There's no need to feel ashamed about stretch marks, I'm sure you're beautiful to him no matter what and that's all that matters.
