Today, a guy that I've been friends with for almost 20 years, and for whom I have never shown even the slightest bit of romantic interest in, confessed his love for me. In front of everyone we know, at mine and my fiancé's engagement party. FML
Today, after recently celebrating our third wedding anniversary, my husband and I watched my mom and his dad say, "I do." I'm now married to my step-brother. FML
Today, my dad told me he has been dating my boyfriend's mom while I was away at college. They have gotten pretty serious, and are thinking about getting married. I might be dating my stepbrother. FML
Today, I confessed to my boyfriend that I was in love with his best friend. He confessed that he was too. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that he was gay and that he is in love with my younger brother. FML
Today, I found out that the person I love, who is also a friend, is now in a relationship with my sister. FML

I've been there. I dated my moms fiancées son for 8 months. My mom and him ended up splitting up later so we were never related but most people still thought it was wrong, but he was gorgeous and we weren't raised as siblings so we didn't care :)

If you feel the same about him, then you just lucked into a good thing! Granted the relationship is moving kind of fast considering you'll be moving in together already, but you'll always be able to see him! If you DON'T feel the same way, and I suspect you don't because you described him as a guy you've "known a long time" not someone you liked, fyl! Prepare for a lot of awkward meals and being watched in the shower!

to the people saying they'll only have one set of grandparents - no they won't, they each have two parents, so thats two grandmas and two grandpas. And it's not wrong, my husband is my stepmum's nephew, so he's my stepcousin. He's black and i'm white so no relation = no problem
