Today, my boyfriend and I were in bed and I asked him why he was with me. His answer was, "Well, the last girl I dated was really smart and she always made me feel dumb, so I decided to switch things up a bit. You make me feel like a genius, babe." FML
Today, after a hard day's work and emotional argument with my best friend, I sent my boyfriend a text telling him how much I loved him and cherished him in the hopes he would cheer me up with a romantic reply. He said "Sorry, I've only got 8 texts left." FML
Today, the guy I like took 15 hours to respond to my text. When I asked him why he took so long to respond, he said, “Chill, I’m not your boyfriend or anything, why are you asking me questions like that?” FML
Today, I got in a fight with my boyfriend. I sent him a long message pouring my heart out about how hurt I am that he constantly ignores me or responds to almost everything I say in monosyllables. He texted back "ok". FML
Today, my boyfriend came over and dropped off my phone, which I'd left at his place the night before. He immediately left in a sulk. As I looked through my texts, I discovered he was only so moody because I hadn't answered any of his calls or messages. I'm dating an idiot. FML
Today, I sent my boyfriend a long and heartfelt message. He responded with "tl; dr". FML

I wonder how old all those guys are that are bashing on her for being stupid and self-centered and saying how all guys hate being asked shit like this. My husband does not mind being asked stuff like this every once in a while...and I don't have to ask for it most of the time because he's one of those few good guys who actually care and say more things to their women other than "I love you" and "You're hot" Yea maybe she shouldn't just have texted him saying "Tell me why you love me"...but do we even know she did just that? She could have said "I had a really horrible day and I'm feeling really down...I miss you so much and I love you because _____________________. Tell my why you love me" People need to stop assuming shit and bashing every OP for their FML... I'm not saying she should dump her boyfriend, but his response was unnecessarily rude...is it so hard to just reply "You know why I love you, I told you so many times"

I know it's annoying when girls fish for compliments, but I don't think it's such a terrible thing to be straight about it and say, "I'm feeling really awful right now, can you tell me what you love about me to make me feel better?" My boyfriend does that for me when I feel bad, and doesn't find it annoying. I do the same for him if he needs reassurance/warm fuzzy feelings. It's called being loving.

Now that her boyfriend has seen that pathetic side of her, he may never see her the same way again. So I say she should leave him, work on herself, and never date again. maybe if you just told him you were upset.. then he would of said something nice to you, but considering you just fished for compliments..... and from what he wrote in reply it suggests that you do it a lot... perhaps you should just learn that your boyfriend isnt there to cheer you up and you should learn to make yourself happy.
