How old are you? Over 18? She can kick rocks... Under that... Dunno what to tell you... Wait.. I'd recommend a discussion with her about helping fellow man through their troubles and helping him find the right path.

Why does your mom know this level of detail anyway? Either tell her he figured it out, or tell her you’re helping him like other people suggested, and stop telling her details like that. I get being open with your mom, but what he’s going through or struggling with personally is none of her business.
