Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my 40 year-old idiot son declared he's going to become a priest. He’s not Catholic, not religious, married, expecting a baby, gambles, and only wants to do it because he read somewhere the clergy are tax exempt. FML
Today, my son is an idiot, but I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt by giving him a job as a cashier in one of my stores. Within half an hour, I was sent security footage from that store's manager showing my son on his phone, ignoring customers, picking his nose, and stealing money from the till. FML
Today, I found out what my son has been celebrating. Apparently, his boss caught him smoking weed and fired him, then had a massive stroke and now has the IQ of a potato, so my son just kept turning up to work since his boss hadn’t had the time to tell anyone he was fired, or to fill out any paperwork. My son is scum. FML
Today, I got to see my son's dream of being on television come true. Unfortunately, it was because he'd been arrested for trying to rob a bank. FML
Today, my ex has successfully turned our son into a copy of himself, a crooked lawyer with alcoholism, a wife who hates him, a mistress he can’t afford, and a pending jail sentence for tax evasion. They’re practically twins. FML
Today, my boss brought his son in as our new manager. This kid has zero experience in our industry and yet waltzed into a £75,000 job where his sole responsibility is telling me how to do a skilled job I started before he was born. Plus half the stuff he tries to tell me is incorrect. Cretin. FML
Today, my 14 year old son got suspended and I had to pay for the damage after he sprayed "FUCK THE POLICE" on the back wall of his school. I'm a policeman. FML
Today, I got called into the principal's office of my son's school. Why? He'd called his teacher a "fudge packer". No more weekends with his uncle. FML
Today, my son actually tried to get out of being arrested by claiming he was “an agent” and unless they let him go, his employers “from the government” would come looking for him and there would be “consequences”. The officers eventually got their breath back from laughing at him. FML
Today, my son's lemonade stand was robbed by a senior citizen. FML

It doesn’t say where you are from, but if it’s a developed country with a mostly honest government it sounds like he’s going after the scum, villains, thrives and highwaymen who try and avoid paying their share for the government benefits they receive. I’d love for the IRS to get the funding to adequately claw back the unfair discounts, especially if they had the funding specifically to go after the rich bastards who are hard to audit because their finances are more complex.

Don't be unfair; tax collectors, like garbagemen, are well-paid people doing an undervalued but necessary job. Plus, without tax collectors, we wouldn't have any money to pay the garbagemen.

It doesn’t say where you are from, but if it’s a developed country with a mostly honest government it sounds like he’s going after the scum, villains, thrives and highwaymen who try and avoid paying their share for the government benefits they receive. How else do you get tax revenue from the scum, villains, thieves and highwaymen who don't pay their fair share of the tax burden? Not to mention that they bought the scum, villains, thieves and highwaymen to make tax laws to help the wealthy. You need to send scum to fight scum.
