Today, I realized why buying clear pins for the wall is a bad idea. If one falls out, you won't be able to see it with your eyes, but your foot will find it just fine. I also learnt foot wounds can produce a pretty significant geyser of blood. FML

Today, while walking barefoot through my house, I saw something shine on the floor across the hallway. Curious as to what it was, I rubbed my foot across the carpet to feel it. It wasn't until it was deeply lodged in my foot did I realize it was an open safety pin. FML
Today, while cleaning a carpet in my house, something in it sliced my foot. I couldn't find what it was, so I went to clean the wound. 10 minutes later, I sliced my foot again on the same thing. I still can't figure out what it was. FML
Today, I was walking in my apartment when I felt something stab my foot. Thinking it was a piece of glass, I looked down. It was one of my roommate's toenail clippings. FML
Today, I was washing the dishes when I gave myself a nasty gash on my leg from the open dishwasher door. After five minutes of cleaning up the blood and wrapping it up, I came back to finish the job only to drop a plate and send broken shards into my foot. FML
Today, I tried to get a piece of glass out of my big toe. After an hour of poking and prodding, I finally got it out only for it to fall on the floor where I couldn't find it. Not five minutes later, I stepped on it again. FML
Today, I was eating a bag of chips when one of the pieces broke off into a sharp point and when I chewed it, it stabbed into my gums. When I got up to wash the blood out of my mouth, I hit my big toe on my desk corner. FML
Today, I found out how it feels to drop a bowling ball on your foot. Spoiler: It doesn't feel good. FML
Today, my shoes were rubbing against my heel so much that one heel started to bleed. Not having any plasters, I stuffed some tissue down my shoe. When I walked off the train, a wad of blood-stained tissue fell out the back of my shoe. The guy behind me didn't think it came from my shoe. FML
Today, a thumb tack came out of one of my posters on my wall. The sole of my foot had the pleasure of finding it. FML
Today, I accidentally stepped on the metal prongs of an extension cord. After pulling it out of my sock, I noticed that all three of the prongs were covered in blood; they penetrated my foot. It bled like a gunshot wound for several minutes, and now my foot is unbearably sore, making it painful to walk. FML

I stepped on one a while ago. It got jammed into my heel and it took me about 30 mins of slowly twitching with a fork to get it out.

#63 I've stepped on a staple and a tack before. Neither takes that much time or effort. If you want to really feel pain, try stepping on some glass and letting that get stuck in your foot.

I am rubbing my heel to remove the phantom pain caused by reading that. I can remember when we were kids a girl I knew was banned from touching the stapler when we had papers to turn in. Every time she did she "accidentally" stapled her hand! weird

Actually it can hurt much worse. Some girls have horrible cramps for days while on their cycle. Guys never experienced it; I don't understand why they belittle our pain.

For some women, menstrual cramps can be the worst pain they've experienced in their life. Well, perhaps only beaten by childbirth. That said, it was an unnecessary comparison in this case. More importantly, you girls are all missing the big picture. No matter how bad either the pain of the pin or the period, men have it worse. We have the pain of putting up with your periods, which can be the equivalent of dancing on a bed of pins. Go take some Midol and get back in the kitchen.
