Today, my fiancé told me that he expects me to agree to quit my job to cook and clean after we get married, or he will not show up at our wedding. He earns minimum wage and my salary is 17 times higher than his. FML
Today, while out for our romantic Valentine's dinner, my boyfriend of 2 and a half years told me that he believes in females being subservient, that I'm not allowed to have opinions anymore, that he is "the alpha dog" and I'm merely the "beta dog", and that I have to "get used to it." FML
Today, my boyfriend called me explaining that he is getting married this weekend to a woman he met on Craigslist. Why? Because I won't marry him, and he'll make an extra thousand dollars per month having a wife since he is in the army. FML
Today, my boyfriend asked my father for permission to marry me. My father refused, on the basis that I'm the only person in the house with a job, and if I leave he will have to start looking for work. My boyfriend won't marry me without his permission, and my lazy father won't change his mind. FML
Today, I demanded to know why my boyfriend even stays with me if he’s not interested in marriage or children, hates my family, barely talks to me when he gets home, and seems uninterested in sex. Apparently, the cheap rent on my flat was his sole interest in me. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he's prepared to commit to marriage, but only if I buy my own ring and tell everyone he surprised me with it. FML
Today, in a heat of an argument, my boyfriend of almost 7 years of relationship said, "You are not part of my family, you do not pay my bills, so do not put your opinion here." All because I wanted to give my opinion on a new apartment that I'll be living in with him and his family after our wedding in few months. FML
Today, my fiancé and his family accused me of being with him only because he's rich, refusing to go ahead with the wedding. I accepted his marriage proposal 4 years ago, when he was penniless and unemployed. FML
Today, I decided to go meet up with a guy that I met online for the first time. All he could talk about was how he expects me to "clean, cook, and submit" my body for sex at least twice a day when we get married. FML
Today, my husband just told me that he no longer loves me but keeps me around to handle his finances. FML

If you do anything other than kick his sorry ass to the kerb, you will only have yourself to blame. To use his own words, he simply isn't husband material. Not only is he not financially in your league; his insecurity will soon get the better of him. Not only that, but my guess is that, once he has possession of your assets, he will use his new financial status to find another girlfriend. And all this while taking advantage of you in any way that he can. What I find really, really funny is that he wants to feel like the 'man of the house' but he has no problem with the fact that you are the one who earned all those assets and that he essentially stole them from you. He would rather con you out of your hard earned assets than to rise to the challenge and earn his own. Not only that, but the resentment of having lost all your assets to him will soon kill any romantic feelings that you currently have for him. If marriage (or a high value mate, for that matter) is what you want, he is just a waste of your time.
