Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my son broke his hand when he and his best friend had the genius idea of punching each other in the fists as hard as they could. FML
Today, my 3-year-old son put into practice the lesson I taught him yesterday, about how to use a larger piece of Play-Doh to pick up smaller bits. Unfortunately, he used this method to pick up a small bit of poo from his pants with a larger bit of poo direct from the toilet. I was an hour late for work. FML
Today, my son threw the biggest fit in history about going to the dentist. He broke a whole stack of plates, overflowed the bathtub, let the dog loose, and kicked his father when he tried to calm him down. My son is 17. FML
Today, I went to pick up my 6-year-old son from his friend's house. They were having a great time, and he didn't want to leave. So, while I wasn't looking, he superglued both his hands to their kitchen table. FML
Today, my 12-year-old son played QWOP on my laptop. Half an hour later, he virtually destroyed it in a fit of rage. FML
Today, as revenge for being grounded for bullying a kid at school, my eight-year-old son flung a handful of Lego into my path as I walked barefoot into the kitchen. I'm still in pain. FML
Today, my son accidentally damaged another kid in the face with a baseball bat, while blindfolded trying to hit a piñata. Except there was no piñata, or blindfold. FML
Today, I had to clean up after the kid who discovered he could finger paint with his poo. FML
Today, my son was playing with a piece of plastic wrapping and trying not to let it fall to the floor as if it were a balloon. This is after he got some kick ass gifts for Christmas. Kids. FML
Today, my 6 year-old son and his cousin were play boxing. For fun, I taught them some real moves. I guess my son is a natural but my nephew got hit so hard he fell over and broke his arm. Now I have to explain this to my wife and her sister. FML

True talent. Hide the modeling clay, it might put him in the ICU.

There's no 'might' about it. It WILL put him in the ICU.

I'm thinking he punched the table out of frustration when his play doh ice cream cone didn't look EXACTLY like the one on the play set box. What, that never happened to you guys?
doodlecloud 27
I was also thinking he must've punched a table...but more because he wanted to smash a playdoh model (for fun not frustration) or because he wanted to see if he could punch the table and not get hurt if he put playdoh on top or something...

I don't know. I just weep for humanity.

there used to be natural selection, so this kind of humanity got weeded out *sarcasm*

I wouldn't bet on it.

How do you do that? Also, lets go ahead and let the kid take responsibility on this one. Play-doh really shouldn't need warning labels beyond choking hazard.

Now that takes skills

Maybe he has brittle bones?

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe he has osteogenesis imperfecta. Or maybe bone cancer. Hope not.
