Hey lady, not cool!
Today, while filling out paperwork at the dermatologist's, it asked what color I would use to describe my skin tone. When the nurse saw that I chose fair, she mumbled, "Ghost is more like it." I have a severe sun allergy. FML

Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was told to rub in my sunscreen because I looked like a ghost. I wasn't wearing any. I'm just that white. FML
Today, I went to get a double conch piercing. Afterwards, the lady asked me whether I was feeling well, because I was looking so pale. I had to explain that it's my normal skin tone. I'm just pale as fuck. FML
Today, I used sunscreen on my face. Said sunscreen was expired and I had an allergic reaction. FML
Today, I went to the store and bought some cream to help with a sunburn I'd gotten a few days ago. What's worse than having red, peeling, and painful skin? An allergic reaction on top of it. FML
Today, I'm so pale, my boss asked me whether I light up in the dark. FML
Today, I got a spray tan. The lady asked what shade I wanted to be, and joking, I said the darkest. She took it seriously. Now no one can recognize me, and I have work tomorrow. FML
Today, I discovered that when my doctor said my new medication "may cause sensitivity to sunlight" what he meant was "sit in total darkness during the day or your skin will feel like its burning off." FML
Today, I was called a wimp for getting a sunburn. FML
Today, after years of difficulty, I finally found the perfect shade of foundation that matches my ultra-pale complexion. It's called "Death Flesh." FML
Today, I went to the beach. After applying sunscreen liberally and doing my best to stay out of the sun, I came home with the worst sunburn I have ever had. I almost needed to go to the hospital. I am officially too pale to be allowed outside in summer. FML
Feel like sharing it with the other FML users?

That was pretty rude of her, don't take it personally though. And what makes someone allergic to the sun? Is it the UV rays or something else?

I think being very pale is beautiful and don't let anybody tell you differently.

That's highly unprofessional, I really can't imagine a nurse saying something like that with sarcasm. If it's true I really hope you called her out on it and even talked to her supervisor things like that shouldn't be taken lightly.!

She probably also altered your first name to Casper.

I'm surprised that a dermatologist's nurse would be so insensitive about a patient's skin tone. She should work for a proctologist where she can hang around with other assholes.

I think it would've been pretty funny... IF you didn't have that medical problem.

That is too unprofessional, you should call and complain. Who is she to judge you?
