Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my son took some of my underwear to school. What's worse is he sold it to his classmate for $10. FML
Today, I realized my wedding ring was missing. Turns out, my son had taken it to give to a girl he likes in the second grade. FML
Today, my phone died. I plugged it in to charge and then went out to run some errands. When I returned, my phone was no where to be found, and our shovel was on the floor, muddy and wet. I then discovered my 6-year old son had buried my "dead" 200$ palmpilot because he had felt sorry for me. FML
Today, my son texted me that he couldn't find his phone, so I went to go help him look for it. FML
Today, my dad let me use his phone. Five minutes later, he had my mom call it because he thought he'd lost it. FML
Today, my new iPhone was stolen from my school locker. After canceling my service, sobbing, having my mom yell at the secretary for their lack of security and finally agreeing to change to a private school, I found it in the corner of my locker. FML
Today, my phone got stolen at church. FML
Today, I posted my phone for sale on Facebook. Someone hit me up to buy it and wanted me to meet them. I didn't really want to drive to them, but I'm a mom of two and I needed food and some extra cash, so I did it. The guy asked to look at the phone… and ran off with it. FML
Today, I found out where all my missing panties have gone, when my 12-year-old daughter was caught selling them to the boys at school. FML
Today, during one of my first days as a teacher, a student stole my phone. FML

I’ll bet that’s how DealDash.com gets its merch.

Did he look in your phone and find your “Mom” first?

Gunning for that Meta Comment of the week award! Good luck!

That's when you make your son give up the name of the kid he sold the phone to, call the kid's parents to inform them of the situation, and then (hopefully) get your phone back.

And that is why you never buy him anything expensive... He wants a phone? "I would buy you one, but knowing that you're gonna sell it for 10$..." Car? "I'd buy you one, but knowing that you'd sell it for 10 $..." And the list goes on and on...

Sorry but an 8 years old should know to not take other people's things... Good luck getting that phone back, though.

They do know better. I have an 8 year old. She'd never even consider doing such a thing. That kid must not have much of a conscience.

What does an 8 year old boy need money for? A 7 year old girl.

Perhaps he didn't know how to get it started.
