Good night
Today, my 26-year-old boyfriend came to my apartment to spend the night for the first time. He brought a "blankie" that he insisted was the only thing that could help him sleep. That "blankie" was his ex-girlfriend's silk nightgown. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, my boyfriend invited me over for dinner for the first time. The place was full of his ex's stuff, books on the shelves, makeup in the bathroom, clothes in the closet and even shoes on the floor. Not to mention creepy plush toys staring at me. She left him 8 years ago. FML
Today, my girlfriend gave me her ex-boyfriend's hoodie as a gift. FML
Today, in protest at my girlfriend stealing the blankets every night, I actually bought myself a separate duvet. She stole that one too in her sleep, wrapped it round herself, and turned over so many times it disappeared under her somewhere. I went and slept on the sofa in my dressing gown. FML
Today, I got to sleep in the same bed as the love of my life...and her new boyfriend. FML
Today, I slept in my boyfriend's room for the first time. I also wet the bed for the first time in a decade. FML
Today, I went to my grandmom's house for an hour or so. When I came home, my boyfriend was on the bed, covered in the sheets and about to cry. Turns out he taped his ballsack to his leg and couldn't get it off because it "hurts too much." I'm 24 and he's 26. FML
Today, I found out my boyfriend regularly has his ex stay over. They even share a bed. He doesn't see a problem with this. FML
Today, my boyfriend came round to drop off some underwear, which I'd left at his house. Not all of what he brought was mine. FML
Today, while visiting my grandparents, I used one of their blankets to keep warm. Later, I saw their dog getting busy with said blanket. When my grandparents saw my look of horror, they explained that he has "sexual relations" with the blanket every night. Thanks for telling me, guys. FML
Today, I woke up to a disappointed boyfriend. He told me he spent an hour last night farting on my pillow to see if I would wake up with pink-eye. He's 23 years-old. FML

The longer you allow it the worse it will get.

If you hooked yourself a 26-year-old "man" that uses the word "blankie," you might want to toss him back in the sea, and see if you can reel in a fully-grown one.

The only time a man should use the word blankie is when he is talking to or about his child. Also, does anyone else find it disturbing that he uses the term blankie to describe his ex's lingerie? Sounds to me like he is using the word blankie to make it seem like an acceptable qwerk. :|

Damn! You meant quirk? I made the mistake of checking qwerk on urban dictionary. More shit I didn't really want to know.

Yes, I meant quirk. Sorry! Now I have to see what qwerk means. *crosses fingers*

It could be worse but still nasty

#35, the other time is after he gets a vasectomy and can tell the ladies he's shootin' "blankies."

#45 Yeah that's pretty sick, lmfao. I still think this FML is worse than eating fart bubbles though. Haha, Perdix.

That's disturbing.

He needs to get over the ex. He needs comfort from you now. Or let him sleep alone and move on!

Why would she comfort her boyfriend about him missing his ex. Nobody likes 2nd place. Op can find someone who only wants her.

give him a show, trust me that "blankie" would be history

Was he wearing it?

If he needs a 'blankie' to help him sleep, he is still a child and not over his ex if it used to be hers. You're probably better off without him if he's not over his ex.

If you bought that then you're a bigger idiot than he is. And if it happens to be true he needs a psychologist.

You should get rid of it and him in the process.
