Feeling ripped off
Today, I woke up feeling out of step with life. Work owes me money for 6 months-worth of projects I did. I collected loans to take care of my sick dad and manage myself, and now my bosses are refusing to pay what they owe, so my account balance is blank. FML

I'm so sorry all of this is happening to you. Your bosses cannot do that, either they pay or you have to drag them to court and sue. This is not ok.

I cannot afford legal action. This is Nigeria. The one with the money wins

you work from paycheck to paycheck but the big boys work from paying up front with contracts.

no, I don't, bit I do expect to get paid half up front and the rest upon completion. this prevents me getting ripped off

bro what, almost no one gets paid in full upfront. even big boys like doctors get paychecks, also your comment is irrelevant because op didn't get upfront or month to month so i have no idea what you're referring to

There aren't too many jobs. I trusted my boss, took him like Family. Just overwhelmed with the betrayal

sue em for the 6 month of backpay, wage theft (they did refuse to pay you), interest, legal fee AND damages

Not so easy. Lawyers don't go pro bono anymore
