Today, my boyfriend and I were about to get intimate for the first time. He said he didn't want to use a condom, and that I should just give him one of my birth control pills instead, "so we can still be just as safe". What the hell? FML
Today, I told a guy that I was on birth control. He decided that it would be best for us not to continue speaking with each other. I never would've thought taking care of myself would be a deal breaker. FML
Today, the previously charming guy I've been seeing for the past two weeks tried to introduce a weekly sex quota into our relationship. FML
Today, I realized my boyfriend uses sex as a way to get me to stop talking. FML
Today, I called my boyfriend and invited him over to watch a movie. He was all for it, until I mentioned I was on my period, at which point he said "NOPE." and hung up on me. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me that having my own condoms is unattractive, emasculating, and a turn off. According to him it's the man’s responsibility to provide the protection, and the fact that I have my own means I must have been very promiscuous if I needed to have them on hand. I’m allergic to the pill. FML
Today, when I was trying to break up with my boyfriend, I told him how I needed space and time to think. His response was, "Ok, we're out of condoms anyway." FML
Today, my boyfriend asked me for sex and when I said no, he asked me to leave. When I demanded to know why, he told me I had reached his limit: if I denied him sex for longer than 6 weeks in a row then clearly I’m not interested in an adult relationship, and need to get the hell out. Asshole. FML
Today, my boyfriend threatened to break up with me if I don't satisfy his "needs." By "needs", he means me wearing a diaper during foreplay. FML

@62 Actually yes she can call the police if he is consistent with this. Regardless of what rights you think you have if you are harassing someone it's illegal and you have the right to call the cops even if it's just a warning for them. Also as I said if she has a case (verbal sexual harassment, stalking, abusive calling) she can get restraining orders.

Yes condoms do protect against STDs #312. They prevent the swap of bodily fluids and direct contact, which is the cause of STD transmission. Sometimes they fail with HPV and herpes because these spread through skin contact, but condoms often prevent these too. As long as the condom doesn't break, isn't faulty, and isn't made of lambskin, they will protect you against the majority of STDs. They even protect against big ones like HIV. You should have learned this in health class.
