Today, I sat on an elevator for 10 minutes thinking I was stuck. After waiting awhile I looked at the screen to see what floor I was stuck on, only to realize I hadn't pressed a button so I had just stayed on the ground floor. FML

Oh, that sucks :/ I did that in a hotel once. haha there were two sets of elevators (1 from 1 - 13 and the other from 13 - 26) and I kept asking people "how do you get to level so and so" hahah it was embarrassing

Lol me and my friend did that before to. except at a beach condo in the elevator and we just walked aorund in circles waiting for someone to come fix it. when the person came all she had to do was press the button to get it ''fixed'' but oh well. it happens.

This doesn't make sense. While thinking you are stuck, you never hit any more buttons or looked at the floor number? What would even make you think you were stuck? You didn't even try to push the Doors Open button!
This is like thinking your car has broken down when you have not even put the keys in the ignition or touched a thing or looked at your dashboard.

Haha, that sucks. That happened to me once at a movie theatre. I was in the elevator with a few friends standing by the door. After about 5 minutes I asked out loud why the elevator hadn't moved. One of my friends asked me if I'd pushed the button. I hadn't.
Everyones done something like that, so all those people making rude comments, don't think you're any better. :)
