Today, I woke up hungover and thirsty, I found a glass of water next to the sink, filled it up with more water, chugged it and went back to bed. I woke up an hour later to my best friend telling me she thought she lost her contacts. They were in a glass next to the sink. I ate her contacts. FML

Today, I woke up soaked in water. It seems at some point in the middle of the night, I woke up thirsty and opened the water bottle I keep on my nightstand. I managed to drink a little, but it seems I didn't manage to put the cap back on before losing consciousness again. FML

Today, I woke up in the shower at my coworker's house, with my clothes on and soaking wet. Apparently, the night before I drank too much and punched my best friend. The sad part is, I passed out on the couch, but somehow ended up in the shower, facing the wrong way. FML

I would never drink out of a glass that already was filled with water, especially after a night of drinking with no way to know what the glass contains other than water. Is it normal to even put contacts in a glass of water? I thought that you were only supposed to put them in their containers with the saline solution.

And how do you know that? Contact solution has a very distinct smell(I wear contacts) so I'm guessing it has a distinct taste as well. It probably was in water, why, I don't know.

If you don't have anything else, that's what's usually recommended. I've had to do that before when I stayed somewhere and didn't have my solution with me.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Wow. That is amazing. And gross. You shouldn't have been so lazy and gotten another cup. I wouldn't have drank out of some random cup of water. But your friend should get a contact case.. with contact lens solution because water is gonna cause bacteria to grow and they'll get an eye infection. Plus the water dries out the contacts and can cause scratches and could damage their eyes. I know a friend who this happened to. FYL indeed. That's disgusting.
