Today, I went to a seamstress to be fitted for my wedding dress and left with a pierced nipple. FML

ouch but hey free piercing right? have you thought about getting a nipple ring?

Ihavegas 22

not that way inclined, but you can play with yourself.

And that is precisely why seamstresses scare me. I don't trust someone with needles and pins that close to my body

Lets hope you never ever need a surgery in your life, dear.

During most surgeries, you're under general anesthesia and therefore wouldn't realize what was happening anyway. I feel the same way she does...I hate having clothing fitted because I don't want to be stabbed. I also don't like having my hair done because I don't want to be burned. Both of those things have happened to me before, so it's natural to feel that aversion. I don't understand why she was thumbed down.

Lmao I'm sorry #47 that sounds hilarious.

Ouch! Of all the places. Sorry OP, hope it heals okay.

did you go to you're lady doctor to get it checked out? that could get infected...

When #7 was referring to "lady doctor," I'm pretty sure she wasn't referring to the doctor's gender but to the term women use for the OBGYN. I could be wrong though.

Actually 29, Siettadulce's version seems much more realistic in that Sarafinistar14 didn't mean a female doctor, but rather an obgyn. Though it is true that any typical doctor could check it out, women are usually more comfortable having women-specific doctors examine their breasts.

I have a male "lady doctor" lol so I mean doesn't have to be a female OBGYN, she may just mean a doctor that checks up on your lady parts routinely.

I would also be a little more concerned about the blood on the dress then the stab to the nipple. The piercing will heal but depending on the amount of blood on the gown, that may not be as easy to clean off. Especially on delicate fabrics.

Hydrogen peroxide! When I was getting my wedding dress fitted the seamstress stabbed herself and got blood on my dress- that's when she taught me that nifty little trick. But you don't want to use too much.

To be fair, your version is way more terrifying.

the only possible explanations are either that you decided to marry the person who pierced you and they happened to have a wedding dress casually lying around, or that the shop had an offer where you get your nipples pierced and a free wedding dress comes with the deal.

No need to overanalyze, #53. This was simply a really good comment.

I feel the analysis made the original comment funnier.

You better have gotten a good deal because of that
