Today, I had just opened up some porn on my laptop when my mom walked into my room, so I slammed the laptop shut. I didn't know the speakers continue to function after the laptop is closed. FML

I once caught a quick yank before going to class, but I forgot to close the porn video on my laptop. Instead I put my laptop on standby and thought it was all good. Then I get to class (freshmen chemistry, like 200 people), sit down in the middle of the room, and start up my computer. Loud, pornstar moans and groans fill the room, and I slammed my laptop shut... and learned the very same thing you did about the speakers. Solution? Rip the battery out of the computer.
