Today, my now-former friend explained in extreme hyperbole that the only reason Russia invaded Ukraine is because Zelensky is a zionist agent meant to make Putin and Trump look bad. He stopped taking my calls after I asked him to explain this. FML

Today, I was berated, then unfriended and blocked on Facebook by an Ukrainian girl, all because I reacted with a “Care” on Facebook on her status about her family back home dealing with the war. Apparently, I’m a “hypocrite” for voting for warmonger Biden, thus “getting them in this mess.” Huh? FML

Today, I told my friend that I don't like spending time around one of her other friends. He's a hardcore Trumpist, who goes out of his way to make people uncomfortable, and be as cruel as possible at every opportunity. She uninvited me from our weekly game nights, because, "He's lonely and depressed." FML

Today, I was refused service at a bakery, got yelled and cussed at to the point of tears, and told to go back to my home country, Ukraine. According to the guy, my people are Nazis who spent the past year draining Americans of their tax dollars to fund their war. I couldn’t report him, he was the owner. FML

I think true “friends for life” is relatively rare. At various stages in ours, or others, lives people often change or they have less in common than we once had. Unfortunately, there is probably little that “Q-buddy” (Q-Anon conspiracies loving buddy) will likely listen to that opposes his viewpoint. And he doesn’t even fully understand his own confused crap enough to give an explanation. We can hope the madness passes, but don’t count on that. Just write him off and make new friends. Someday he may come to his senses, but don’t plan on that.

They are looking for "dirt" on Hunter Biden since Zelensky didn't give it to Trump on the impeachment phone call. Like we went looking for WMDs in Iraq. Maybe they'll find the "11,780...uh...votes" from Georgia while they are there?
