You laugh, you lose

Today, I gave a big presentation at work, hoping to impress my boss and angle for a promotion. I was already nervous, but a co-worker at the back kept making goofy faces, causing me to repeatedly break into laughter. My boss accused me of being high, and suspended me on the spot. FML

Make sure to do this the next time your co-worker has to do a speech, then see how he feels about it

Well that's unprofessional of your boss to just assume your high and suspended you just like that, sorry to hear OP

As much as it sucks, it's still pretty funny :p

With the OP's luck, he'll just get suspended for even longer.

If you're clean just have them test you!

They can't just suspend you on the SUSPICION of being high. I'd definitely protest that.

Totally, but make sure you don't get caught doing that. :)

I think it's time you act your age, not your shoe size

45- I think you should try not to be a ********... Just a suggestion

Do the same when he gives a presentation.

Wait a minute; have I seen this comment before?

What else you can think of when you see a guy laughing and not knowing why, when you expect him to present a serious presentation

I don't know there's always other options. The boss could have simply told him to be quiet. Or just say his name in a serious voice would do it for most people. Would take his attention of his co workers face and back to his boss.

48 - there's only one improper use of the word (or any use of the word at all) from 40 up so its pretty clear to whom 40 is referring to. I hope I've cleared the confusion. Good day.

54, I had to thumb you up cause you played that way too perfectly

Is it not: Your type is both rare and annoying. Not "are". By the way, you forgot to capitalize A in "As."

58 - Take the fan blade out of your rectum. It was a joke made in good humour. Proper response would be "haha" or "hahaha", not a deep analysis of his reign on the english language.

You could have just stopped looking at your co-worker

It's like being in an assembly where your supposed to wear only black and a clown shows up. Hard not to have attention drawn to it

YDI for finding goofy faces that hilarious, especially at such a pivotal moment.

I agree, I can't understand why he kept looking at him and not ignore him.

Well, you try to avoid looking at them at least, not keep looking at the goofy faces and keep laughing

Stupid co-workers they always get you in trouble.

We always have that one friend who tries to make you laugh at a presentation.

Now i understand the meaning of your username.

You shouldn't get that angry at him; he was just trying to relieve a little of your nervousness. He went about it the wrong way, true, but you can't hold it against him.

1 word: sabotage. If that was the co-worker's intention, it worked.

How is your username relevant?

They probably made the account long before they posted this FML.
