Even though I'm left-handed my handwriting is actually really good. Although I have a bit more medical knowledge than a lot of non-medical people, that's just one of the reasons I could never be a doctor. :)

I was told over and over I was destined to be a doctor due to my dreadful penmanship. I think it's more that I was destined to NEED doctors due to the underlying sensory processing issues that caused it. The things you discover a decade too late to do you any good...

Get a fountain pen. It slows down your handwriting so you focus on each letter. Lamy is a good first fountain pen.
