What's your morning routine?

Today, I tried a DIY face mask that involved using turmeric spice. After keeping it on for 20 minutes, I tried washing it off, but I couldn't get rid of the orange residue it had left behind. Guess who's going to work tomorrow looking like an Oompa Loompa. FML

Omg so sorry to hear that!!! Are you sure you tried EVERYTHING to get rid of the stain cause I heard that combining sugar and water then exfoliating your face with it helps get rid of tumeric stains on skin. You should definitely try it! Good luck and hope it's not too late :)

There's a variety of Tumeric that doesn't stain your skin. Dont use the tumeric you keep in the spice cabinet.

Oh Thank God! I was about to make a face mask today using turmeric in my cabinet. Guess I should really look for something that doesn't stain my face like OP's did.

Which part of the chocolate factory do you work for?

Turmeric stains everything orange!! Have you tried using a vinegar and honey scrub or any kind of mask? You may just have to moisturize and apply a makeup layer. Good luck, OP!

Green concealer works for sunburn, maybe that or light blue to counter the orange? Idk. I'd try to find a make up solution before going to bed if I were you

baby oil and sugar scrub or lemon juice and baking soda. you can even try fake tan removers. when you're done whether it's off or not moisturize and leave your face alone for a while because all that rubbing and scrubbing can dry your skin out and leave micro tears. good luck

That first bit is good advice but don't put lemon juice and baking soda on your skin, those are both strong enough to use in place of household cleaners so they are way too strong to use on skin. And yes I'm aware that Biore now has a baking soda scrub, still a bad idea.

it's a one time thing that is in many common health and beauty products, are recommended for getting fake tan off and whitening teeth (again not often) and they both are foods that in some recipes would be eaten together raw (with other ingredients) soooo....

There's plenty of things that you can eat that are still not the best idea to apply on skin. Like turmeric.

Let me guess, you learned the recipe on YouTube?

Try using powdered bleach to wash it off. It's an amazing disinfectant as well

After that, you're really trusting OP with powdered bleach?
