Screw that. You don't need to help cover. Work your regular hours or you'll get sick, too.

if you're not the one in charge say no. i know it's hard to say no to a superior, but they won't respect you more for saying yes. Tell them the terms you can work under (like "i can work 8 hours for 6 days a week" )
