Today, a coworker asked me out and we’ve been on a few dates. I had no idea why she’d want to date me, until after we had sex and she started crying and confessed she was molested as a teen, and since her attacker was short and gross like me, she wanted to use me to work out her repressed issues. FML

Today, as my date and I were climbing into bed, she casually mentioned she’s never had an anonymous one night stand before. We work in the same office, that’s where we met. Apparently, I was always under her radar, and she assumed I was a customer instead of her coworker of 2 years. FML

Today, a coworker invited me out for a date, totally out of the blue. I had no idea she liked me, but I did my best to impress. She ordered the most expensive steak on the menu, two bottles of wine, and eventually picked up and went home with our waiter. I got the bill. FML

Never speak to her again. Ignore her forever and act like she never existed whenever possible. Try to limit interaction with her as much as possible.

That sucks. I am really sorry, it must hurt. Although you could be forgiven for not wanting to speak to her again, if I were you I would put my own ego away and reach out to her. Help her break the cycle, help her talk about it and maybe that will help you to be less hurt about it as well.
