Too late

Today, I woke up, took a shower, made some pasta, drank 3 glasses of water and brushed my teeth. I then left my apartment to see signs posted all over warning us not to use the water without boiling it because the water company just found E-coli in the water. FML

Yeah since no one knows how many possitive chemicals they put in the bottle water and it's not like every place has bad tap-water i'm from a place who used to sell it's water.

"Just found" that means it was there yesterday aswell so it's probbably not a big problem.

oh my! I'm sorry to hear that, you may want to got to the doctors office. that way you can prevent it. Get better soon! GEN

O dear! that's tearable! RI sorry the other post is from a friend.

If it's that serious it would have been on the news. Chances are your water provider would have called as well.

this actually could have happened. after drinking 2 cups of ice tea i made with pure water and powder mix, i walked outisde my front door and found a red paper around my door handle saying that they were flushing the hydrants and the water won't be purified and it could contain bacteria, so don't use the water, unless boiled. :/ - FYL

You're from Bristol County! It was in the news and on the newspaper's front pages.

There are many strands of E. coli that are harmless to humans. For instance, my AP Bio class made some E. coli bioluminescent through genetic transformation. We didn't have to wear facial masks, and nobody got sick.
