Yeah I don't get it. I travel like 4 times a year and I can't never see the parking lot when I am on the plane. But that sucks OP sorry to hear that and enjoy your flight!

Not all airports have covered parking places. And some have the parking area close to the runway. They're more common for smaller towns.

And what about small town airports? The parking "lot", which is a patch of gravel at mine, is literally right next to the strip. Before you cry fake, do your research. Also FML policy has stated that we are not to call out an FML as fake.

Has anyone else thought it was possible that OP meant he was actually In the parking lot, dealing with the fender bender, and saw his plane take off without him? Not that he was on the plane and watched someone hit his car as the plane took off.
