well before our generation, the elderly were given respectful priority from the youth, so if Grandpa needs the bathroom, he gets the bathroom, even if you need it/are doing something in it. our parents and Grandparents did that for their elders, and they expect it from us. but in this revolutionary tech age we don't generally give them the respect they deserve.

@30 People don't necessarily deserve respect simply because they're older, but someone who needs to use the toilet should definitely have priority over someone doing their hair in the bathroom. That being said, he still should have told her he needed to go and given her an opportunity to vacate.
