How soon is now?

Today, I turned around after loading the washing machine to discover my husband's 89-year-old grandmother dropping her pants. She looked at me and said, "I hope you don't mind but when you got to go, you got to go." She then sat down on the toilet and let out a loud, long fart. FML

She came to the bathroom (as opposed to the kitchen for example), so she hasn't lost it yet. People can't control their body functions properly at this age, so don't be too hard on her. If she was YOUR grandmother, would you have the same reaction?

i thought she did go to the kitchen at first. in the uk washing machines are usually in the kitchen so this fml thoroughly confused me at first.

At first I read "dishwasher" instead of "washing machine" so I thought she HAD gone in the kitchen, and I was sitting here like "why would you ever have a toilet in your kitchen?!" it took me a couple of times reading it through before I understood, lolz XD

everyone here has it in the kitchen unless they have a utility room. i also learned from reading Girl with the Dragon Tattoo thats its perfectly normal in Sweden to have your washing machine in your bathroom so why not the USA too.
