Don't feel bad, OP. My boyfriend does this to me sometimes too, and it's just because he wants some alone time. He can't burp and fart and stick his hand down his pants when he's with his girlfriend.

I do this all the time everyone needs alone sometimes! my roommate always wants to be near me some times ill go sit in my room for 20 minutes just too be alone

I had this too when me and my girlfriend weren't living together. Truly relaxing would be chilling out and knowing I don't have to go anywhere. When you know you can't sleep over and you have to go home later, that would be a bit less relaxing than just sitting on the couch at home until you go to sleep.

I would assume he wanted to watch something else...or just wanted a little alone time
