Today, while cleaning around the house, I found a black bra that wasn’t mine. I confronted my husband about it, which turned into a massive fight. It turned out that the bra actually belonged to my son’s girlfriend I didn’t know he had. FML

it's not really a lack of trust. who wouldn't be a little taken back by finding someone elses underwear in the house? it doesn't exactly inspire trust. most husbands would react similarly if they found some guys tighty whities in the house. But OP, as long as you talked this out with your husband, I don't see how this is a FML. Honest mistake. And look on the bright side. your son is popular with the girls!

I admit, If the roles were reversed and I came home to someone elses jeans in the house,Id start asking questions too, I woudnt think my kid would have a boyfriend, however at the same time, just asking in simple non yelling ways will always get more answers, this isn't a YDI or FML, just be happy your son has a girlfriend, and laugh the thing off

Listen, as the only daughter of a cop and overprotective Asian/Spainish parents, trust me, there are ways to date people and have sex without parents knowing! Parents cannot be with you all the time and you can stretch the truth to buy you time. I was very active in "after school" activities... even in days when I didn't have any :D oooo here i go curropting the young... (so says the 22 yr old :))

Yea, insert part a into part b he understands, but if he's as young as he sounds in the fml( I'm guessing 14- ish) he might not understand stuff like condoms and "yes you can get pregnaut even if you do it standing up". Yea... the joy of having younger brothers...
