Today, my wallet got stolen. I don't have a photo ID to get a temporary debit card, and since I don't have a debit card, I can't go to the DMV to get a new license. FML

Today, my wallet got stolen. I had a bunch of cash, my SS card and my license in it. Now I have to replace everything, only to have to renew my license again when I turn 21 in June. FML

Today, I went to go get a new ID because my wallet was stolen, which had my social security card in it as well. I found out that to get your ID you have to have your social security card, and to get your social security card, you need your ID. FML

Today, I went to the bank to get a temporary debit card, since I lost my wallet a week ago. On my drive across the street from the bank to the DMV, a car slammed into mine at the intersection, nearly totaling my car. The movie theater I went to last week just called and said they'd found my wallet. FML

Today, I misplaced my wallet. Fortunately, I knew exactly where it was. Unfortunately, I had just taken out the only form of picture ID that morning. I couldn't stop the finders from laughing as they saw my fake celebrity entertainment ID while I tried to convince them it was actually my wallet. FML

Today, I canceled my ATM card, because it had been lost. Then I found it. Then I found out I can't reactivate it, because I asked for a replacement card. I'm from CA, and I'm in Mexico with only 20 bucks. FML

Today, I went to the store to buy some groceries. Several hours later I realize that I can't find my wallet. After looking all over my house and then the store parking lot, I had my credit cards cancelled. On the drive home, I feel something under me. It was my wallet. FML

Today, I left my wallet on top of my car when I filled up with gas. I drove away and didn't realize it until I got home. I went back and found it on the side of the road. Empty of my credit cards, pictures and checks. All that was left was my driver's license. FML

I lost my drivers license and debit card at a 5K one year. I was able to use my passport (which I had thankfully gotten the month before) to get my debit card (also nice because my bank prints them on the spot) and then was able to get my new drivers license. Turns out someone found my stuff and messaged me on Facebook but I didn't see it because Facebook moved that to some special hidden folder. I got them back a year later. xD

If you have a debit card, you have a bank account. Go to the bank and withdraw the cash to get a new license. Duh.

Step one: borrow money from a friend to get a new license from the dmv. Step two: use said license to get the temporary debit card. Step three: pay friend back with aforementioned debit card.

If you have any other forms of id such as a passport or your birth certificate you should be ok to get a new debit card. Otherwise bring in any bank statements for that account/mail or bills with your name and address and your social insurance number and you can probably get it back.

You realize you can use your birth certificate/social security card. You only need 2 forms of identification. Same thing happened to me, only I lost mine. I just brought my SS card and birth certificate. If you don't have/lost those, then you have bigger problems.
