Today, my teacher told me that she couldn't find my hand-written essay on the Renaissance, and that I have to re-do it all by tomorrow. I later saw my essay on her desk, covered in a massive coffee stain that made virtually everything unreadable. FML

Today, I found out why my professor accused me of not handing in an important essay before the due date. Apparently she spilled coffee all over it and didn't dare to tell me. FML

Today, I had my teacher look over my essay before turning it in. He said it was extremely well-written, so I handed it in. When I got it back, the feedback he left said it was one of the worst essays he'd ever read. FML

Today, I found out that my entire class, me included, has to rewrite the painfully difficult midterm we wrote last week. All this because the Professor left the exams strewn across her desk. The cleaners thought it was trash and disposed of them. FML

Today, I broke my dominant hand. My teacher insists we hand-write our essays. I called and asked if it was okay for me to type up the essays. She said no. I have two essays due tomorrow, which count for half my grade. FML

Today, I turned in an essay after staying up late to work on it. I was away when the teacher assigned it, so I'd asked my friend what the subject was. It transpires that she'd given me the wrong one, all because she was mad at me for not returning her pencil. FML

Today, I asked my professor what happened to the assignment I gave him several weeks ago. Turns out he lost it, and graded me zero as a result. Now if I want a mark, he says I'll have to hand-write it all over again, but that I "probably shouldn't bother," because it was "a bit shit, really." FML

Today, after turning in a paper that I worked really hard on, I got it back with a grade of 0. In the feedback section, my professor wrote: “In all my 37 years of teaching, this is by far the worst essay I have ever read.” FML

Today, I finally finished my art project, which was worth 50% of my quarterly grade. I came in first period to give it to my professor. When she turned to look at it, her elbow hit her coffee and spilled it all over the canvas. I got 60%. She said I would have had a 100%, except for the giant coffee stain. FML

The fact she's giving you one day to re-do an essay SHE lost is already showing how "great" of a teacher she is, which doesn't really make the next bit surprising. Had she actually lost the paper, she should at least give you more time to re-write it. FYL, OP.

But before you bring it up to her try and subtly take a picture of it on your phone! That way if she responds like a dick and you have to take it to the principle you have proof in case she tries to get rid of the evidence! ...hey, nothing would surprise me these days.

Wow. I read earlier how someone grading papers spilled coffee over one student's test rendering it unreadable so it would need to be retaken. Talk about a coincidence. This sounds like something you should tell the principal. That teacher is lying to you and being unfair.

I would def tell her u seen the paper and tell her your not gonna redo it and that u deserve ur grade for it or ur gonna get her in trouble. I was always a bitch like that in school to my teachers and it worked. :)
