Today, my mom took me to an AA meeting because she said I needed help. I have never tried alcohol in my life, and told them this. I was then harangued by the "instructor" because apparently one of the signs of alcoholism is denial. FML

Just say you're there to show support for your mom who is addicted to alcohol and sex, especially giving oral sex. Your mother will never take you there again.

Thats how they get payed.. They say that almost everything is a symptom

152 - nothing wrong with being bi/gay

I'm going to assume that the OP's mom didn't tell them where they were going. Also I'll wager that the OP's mother is the one with the alcohol problem. She brought the OP along to play scapegoat while she gets the information she needs. If the OP's mom isn't an alcoholic - wreck her. Say you only drink because she's a exhibitionist nymphomaniac.

7- that is very stupid. just saying I know ALOT of people in AA & they aren't quitters.

AA has no "instructors," they just have members who are elected by groups to run meetings. And their traditions state they are a program of "attraction not promotion" so they have no right to tell you you need to be there against your will.

that's how they get you. no matter what your accused of being addicted to, if you denie it, they claim your in denial.
