Download a program called "Recuva", set it to Deep Scan - it might be able to get some of your pictures back.

You sorta deserve it. Never take pictures on a digital devices or at least have more then one copy on multiple devices.

I think that, as long as the harddrive wasn't reset, you can have a professional recover the pictures for you.

if you take your hard drive to a computer technician soon enough it may still be there. It takes a long time to delete something fully.
