Am I the only one who's sure this isn't just about a printer, but some long-running problem that came to a head in this argument, and OP either had no idea about, or did but ignored, and is now making out as if it was just a stupid printer argument? That or OP's fiance didn't want to get married, didn't want to tell her, and so took the first out he could. Or he just really loves printers.
