Today, my boyfriend threw out my old voicemail recorder, thinking it was junk. My father passed away years ago. I kept a recording of the last voicemail he'd left me on it so I'd always remember his voice. FML

This FML literally made me cry. on one of my old phones I had a voicemail from my mother that she left me right before she went to the beach where she died. What the hell was I doing that was so important I couldn't answer my moms phone call? now ill never hear her voice again cause I've gotten new phones since then and lost the voicemail.. I love you so much

I feel for you OP. my boyfriend passed away a couple of years ago and a supposedly "friend" deliberately deleted all of his text messages he sent me.... about a month after it happened. I know exactly what it's like. but just try and remember all the great times you had :)
