Today, I found out my best friend had 3 birthday parties for herself over the weekend. I wasn't invited to any of them. When I asked her why, she said I "didn't fit in" to any of the groups that were at the parties. All my other friends were invited. FML

Today, I went to the movies with a girl I like, then we went to grab a bite afterwards. She spent most of the time telling me how much she dislikes my best friend because he hooked up with a new girl. I then found out the two had been "talking" for a while. FML

Today, I saw my friends talking about plans for later during lunch. I walked over and asked for the plan. My best friend of 12 years gently took me aside, and said "You know that person in each group of friends that is only around to be made fun of? That's you." I just got dumped by my friends. FML

Today, a close friend told me she had no plans for her birthday. I found out she was lying when I had to serve her and 9 other mutual friends dinner at the restaurant I work at. I don't know what's worse, the fact that I wasn't invited or that none of them even remembered that I worked there. FML

Today, my best friend planned a birthday party for me at the local Mexican restaurant. NO ONE showed up. We'd told the waiter there would be 18 arriving. Two hours later he brought me free ice cream. Even the non-English speaking waiters knew I was a loser. FML

This is why I prefer male friends over female friends. 99.9% of the time this shit happens amongst female friends. I've never had a close male friend turn out to be a two-faced asshole, yet several times this has happened with women I've been friends with. Not to say I don't have female friends, but it took me longer to trust them than it did the male friends. OP- find some REAL friends and ditch these two-faced hacks. No one deserves to be mislead like that.

Omg I can totally see what you mean. One of my best friends recently turned out to be a two faced bitch to everyone. She has no friends now >:] A few female 'friends' have been two faced to me, and I do have some female friends who, as far as I know, have been trustworthy, but half of my best friends are guys and I've never fallen out with one over them being two faced. Girls generally seem to find bitching fun :| I am a girl and I don't bitch about my friends. And OP, at least she told you so you can find some new friends. And I hope she isn't one of them. If she is, time to ditch them all and find friends who won't use you. Good luck :)

Right then, I would have kicked my "best friend" to the curb. Then I would have given the other movie ticket to a complete stranger because they would have appreciated it more. OP, I feel for you. I have been in the exact same situation and felt horrible because the person who I thought was my "best friend" was really a lying bitch.
