Today, my best friend and I came home from Japan. Her boyfriend and I have been having an affair before I left so I decided not to tell him she was coming with me. We just got off the plane and got a bite to eat, he was waiting for me so he could propose, my best friend was standing next to me. FML

Today, I left for a one and a half month trip to Japan with my boyfriend. He promptly broke up with me the first night in the hotel. When asked why he couldn't have waited until the trip was over, he said he didn't want to create "false memories". FML

@30 First off I'm a dude and it's illegal in most states. Second I'm straight. Third you are stating things that are plausible. Common sense takes a backseat sometimes (Springer or any other trailer trash show anyone). All your questions would be from my hypothetical scenario. Fourth and MOST IMPORTANT is that I'm going off an angle that the best friend and OP didn't start the trip at the same time. Honestly if you read and comprehend my POV makes complete sense in the beginning and falls flat on it's face in the end. Thus maybe this thing is fake. BUT everyone here is posting about "how would he not realize you guys were going to Japan" and stupid detailed information that isn't in the FML. SO if you want to cast down you may want to realize that we don't know shit about this FML than what's posted. So thus I think you need to drop dead. mmkay? Plus how about you read my #5 post where I voted YDI and called the OP worthless and selfish.
