Today, I took a online midterm for a 400 level class I need to graduate this winter. I didn't realize that Proctorio links your computer to your phone, so when I opened my phone and googled the exact question, it gave me a notification on my screen which Proctorio screen recorded. FML

Today, I was taking a final test online that would account for 65% of my final grade, for which I'd worked extremely hard. I had one submission for the test, and my roommate thought it would be funny to click the "Submit All" Button while I was getting a glass of water. I got a 13%. FML

Today, I have a condition that when I get nervous, I get horrible diarrhea. I was taking an online math test worth a huge portion of my grade when I felt the rumble. Turning off the camera is an automatic fail, so I had to take my laptop to the bathroom with me. The teacher kicked me out of class. FML

the mac or pc debate here is moot. did you read the instructions? I can't imagine they didnt warn you to switch off all automatic updates or make sure all updates are done before you take the test. PCs also warn you before any updates take place and you have the option to postpone. sounds like you weren't really paying attention. Having said that you probably arent the only one so i'm sure if you explained and requested a re-take, they ought to let you.
