Today, I woke up really early before my mom so I could make pancakes for Mother's Day. I placed everything on a tray and even picked a flower, had a card for her and took it to her bedroom. She said, "You shouldn't have, pancakes are fattening." She took one bite and fed the rest to the dogs. FML

Today, my mom had me and my little brother make pancakes for breakfast. I had to let the dog out of the house to go do his business, so I had my little brother wait there and told him not to touch anything. I came back 5 minutes later, and there were cracked eggs in the almost-done batter. FML

Today, I made my mom cookies for Mother's Day. My brother took all the cookies to work as a snack, because I didn't specifically tell him that the homemade "MOM" hearts weren't meant for him. FML

Today, I sent a $120 bouquet of flowers for mother's day. When I called tonight see if my Mom got them, she replied that they were still on the doorstep because she "didn't want the dogs to get excited and start barking" when she opened the front door to bring them in. FML

Today, I found out that my mother organized someone to feed my pets because I would be out of town overnight, even though I told her that I would be back in the morning and they would be fine. They overfed my dogs, with one of them eating over 10% of her weight, and now she may have bloat, which is often fatal. FML

Today, I wanted to do something nice for my mom. So, while she was sleeping, I cleaned the whole house for her and even made her breakfast. A few minutes later, she came downstairs and yelled at me to keep it down because she was trying to sleep. FML

#95, I live with a Latino family, and the mother is NEVER ******* HAPPY! Me and my boyfriend bought a beautiful silver bracelet for her this year with her birthstone on a heart-shaped pendant, and as soon as she thought we weren't looking, she tucked it into a 'junk drawer' in her room, never to be seen again. They are picky and very tough to figure out. She bitches at us if we don't use our money to buy nice things for the family, but as soon as we buy her something lovely, she treats it like garbage.

Don't feel bad. My mom does that all the time. Even when I make her fruit smoothies she says it gives her too much energy and she can't sleep at night. Then later that day she sees in a store a nice cake and gorges herself saying "I don't care if I get fat."
