Today, I went to a restaurant with my boyfriend. After dessert, he went to the bathroom so I quickly called the waiter over and paid the bill, thinking it was a nice gesture. When he returned, he broke up with me for "emasculating" him. FML

Today, after dating a guy for 2 months, things seemed to be going well. I offered to buy dinner and trusted he would keep in mind that I'm a college student on a budget. He picked the restaurant, ran up the bill over $100, made me pay, and dumped me right after. FML

Wow, soooo, your single now? After you tell that story, you will have lots of guys asking you out. Not that they are cheap, but I for one would like a girl that is willing to pay a bill. It shows you are kind and considerate. Good for you op.
