Today, I washed one of my roommates t-shirts. I forgot to remove it before putting it in the dryer, and all the print on the front melted off. It was a gift from his girlfriend. Who has just passed away. FML

Today, I was laughing at a story of a girl who had dropped her cellphone in a hottub and ruined it. As I was feeling pretty good about myself, I then realized that my cellphone was in the pocket of a sweater that I had just thrown in the washer 20 minutes prior. FML

Today, I was drying my duvet and pillows in the dryer. Apparently, one of the pillows was memory foam, which I was not aware of. It caught on fire due to the heat and nearly burned down my laundry room. FML

I like how you say you don't understand how they 1 forgot to take out the shirt and 2 how the shirt can be fine in the washer but not the drier. Honestly common sense for both. 1 if its something you don't wash often and if you don't take stuff out of the washer before the drier then you do tend to forget. And 2 a shirt can in fact be fine if you wash it but putting it in the drier can harm it, it depends on the material. And you make his seem like he said something stupid.
