Today, I was watching a movie alone, after receiving a text from my boyfriend saying that his grandma was at the hospital, so he couldn't go with me. I caught him on a date with another girl, at the same movie screening that I went to. FML

Today, I went to the movies alone after the boy I was seeing told me he was busy studying for exams. I found him making out with another girl whilst in the queue. When I confronted him by text he denied that it was him. I saw him check the text and reply. FML

Today, I went to the movies on a date. I went to pay for the tickets when I realized that I didn't have my wallet. Instead of my boyfriend paying, he laughed and paid for his own ticket. Then he went ahead and saw the movie without me. FML

Today, I went to the movies with my boyfriend. We went inside the theatre and he saw a couple of his friends. Instead of saying hi and coming back to watch the movie with me, he ditched me for them. When I reminded him he was forgetting something, he grabbed the popcorn out of my hands and left. FML

Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that OP would still go to the movies after finding out her bf's grandma was in the hospital? Shouldn't she have offered to go to the hospital with him? At any rate, she still didn't deserve to be cheated on, of course. Sorry OP, people can be awful sometimes :(

You should have snuck out of the theater, walked back in, and then walk over to him and call him a cheating asshole. Not only does he get the public humiliation he deserves, but most likely, the rest of the theater crowd will get mad too. Trust me, I've seen things like this go down before. Sorry OP!
