Today, I was ringing up a woman at work. I saw she'd bought a birthday cake, so I smiled and said I hoped whoever it was for has a happy birthday. She looked at me in disgust, told me to mind my own business, then called me a "chucklefuck bitch." Okay then. FML

While thy customer is a huge jerk, chucklefuck is a pretty funny name to call someone. Sorry OP I'm sure you aren't one.

"Chucklefuck bitch." You Aussies sure are creative.

I thought people in Australia were meant to be nice. I was obviously wrong. At least they're more talkative than people in the UK

I'm sure she has an eating disorder and the whole cake was just for her. And when you said what you said, she thought you knew what was really going on but were just being ironic and making fun of her. And that made her be aggressive! FYL (and hers too, by the same occasion)

Things like this make me lose my faith in humanity. Don't let her ruin your day.

I would have burst into laughter ??that's the funniest insult ever

well thats a new and interesting insult. sorry about that op, some people are just rude assholes.

My guess is the cake wasn't for a birthday, she just wanted to eat a cake and your remark made her feel like a fatass. I'm sorry you have to deal with horrible customers.

maybe she is a lonely piece of shit and was going to eat the whole cake by herself and your question only upset her because she had no real excuse and didnt want to admit her real plans

What a charmer. But now you have a new insult (or two) added to your vocabulary. If I can even think of an occasion to use "chucklefuck", I will. Seriously, though, she didn't have to be such a snotbag. If she didn't appreciate your attempt to be polite, a stiff, "Thank you," uttered through clenched teeth, would have sufficed.

She was probably planning on eating it by herself, which is why she snapped at you OP.
