draw me next!
Do what most men have honed into a fine art. Lie, but with your pencil. Is she flat chested with a rather large nose? Not today. It's called artistic license and instead of getting you into trouble, it may get you a date.
Exactly. Puff up them breasts and remove the pimples and you make a masterpiece in her eyes.
To be fair, there are a lot of emotions wrapped up in drawing portraits of people, particularly those that you don't know very well but still see a lot. She could be embarrassed about being pretty, embarrassed about being ugly, embarassed about having to draw you too...I would try not to read into any comments in this context too much. If you feel you did well then good for you. :)
"Im not bad, you just look that way. Woah now this is embarising." Turn it on her OP!
When I first met my boyfriend we were paired up to draw portraits of each other as an ice-breaker on our art course. I drew him amazingly well because I wanted to impress him, he drew me as a stick woman with a horribly massive head. This didn't put me off however and we still laugh about it today :P
Maybe she can't accept the fact that she's ugly?

Maybe she just doesn't realize that she's hideous
You could say that you were drawing her inner beauty, not her outer beauty. Maybe she'll get the hint.
