Today, I was denied acceptance to The University of Georgia. I was down all day so I decided to go to a party my friend was throwing. Thinking it would cheer me up, as soon as I arrive all I see is colleges on shirts, hats, and sweatshirts, most being UGA. It was a college acceptance party. FML

Today, I was walking with a friend to tell him how excited I was for college and even motivating him to apply for the same school, until I found out later that I got rejected. FML

Today, I went to my first university party already a little drunk. I perched on the end of a table to cool off from the dancing and the whole table tipped over and dumped me onto the floor. I was promptly laughed out of the room. FML

Today, I got invited to a big upperclassmen party that underclassmen don't normally get invited to. I was feeling really good when I got there and saw that the girl I'm in love with was there. They stole my pants and gave me a swirly. Her reaction was to post pictures on Facebook. FML

Today, I pulled up to a party with my friends. I never partied in high school and college due to being bullied, so I was excited for my first party. It turned out to be a college house party, I'm a little older by 3 years but it’s no big deal. They mistook me for a freshman and I was bullied. FML

Today, I was excited because I was going to get my college decisions back. I put all of the letters in order of my preference. Didn't get into my first choice. Denied from my second choice. Rejected from my third choice. Wait listed on my back-up. Accepted for a job at Target. FML

Today, I got a large envelope from a college I applied to earlier. My mom, expecting big news, made my family gather round as I opened it. It ended up being a letter of rejection from not just that school, but all three campuses of the state college. FML

UGA is just a name. So is GCSU, Harvard, Yale, and so on. You are just paying for the name of the school. It's not the end of the world.

Im sorry to hear that!!! I just found out I got waitlisted :/ and for all you assholes saying its "sad" you werent accepted or that you have to be legally retarded to not get in, UGA has gotten alot harder to get into than in the past. i have a 3.8 gpa, 1950 SAT, 30 ACT, will graduate in the top 10% of my class, passed 8 AP classes, 2 varsity sports, president of habitat for humanity, etc.... i didnt get accepted, so clearly the standards at UGA for acceptance are a little higher than that of a "clown college"

ha, whoops. stupid mistake. but whatever, every college rating service out there says uga is a good school so i don't really give a **** about what a bunch of bitter assholes say over the internet. im still going to a better college than most of you could ever hope to get in to. sooo suck it.
