Today, it was my Sweet 16. My cousin threw a tantrum in the middle of it. She popped balloons, threw chairs around, and threw my gifts off the balcony. Reason being, she turned 16 last year and didn’t get a party. She perhaps forgot that last year we were in a pandemic. FML

Today, I was babysitting my 5 year-old niece, and she was really down in the dumps because she didn't get invited to a birthday party. To cheer her up, I took her to Chuck E Cheese. Right when we arrived, we walked in on a birthday party. It was the one that my niece got denied from. FML

Today, it's my birthday. A month ago, I'd told everyone I invited to my party that it was going to be adults only. One of my friends brought her kids with her anyway, then started screaming and trashing the place when I politely asked her to leave. The cops had to be called to finally get her out of my house. FML

well happy birthday...belated. at least you got to spend it with family & again on the brightside, you're not grandma old yet... but you're not 'crapping in your pants' young anymore either. something to be happy about? i do believe so. enjoy all your birthdays while you're still out of diapers. :]

I feel you. I invited 30 people, including some family, over for my 18th birthday. we set up and my boyfriend and I went to pick some people up. 200 dollars on party supplies and people ignoring me and telling me that they're out of town. we returned to my house while I couldn't look anyone in the eyes. Every single person stood me up. Congratulations on turning 16.
