The other day, a girl in my Spanish course asked the professor if, instead of tests, we could just do oral from now on to get better grades. She meant oral presentations like skits, but obviously it didn't come out that way. Talk about hilarious...I'm pretty immature so if my boss said something like this to me I'd laugh. :)

Wow! So many people are quick to run and file a complaint. If you didn't appreciate the joke, let your boss know. If the jokes continue you could file. One joke hardly constitutes harassment.

Youre life doesnt suck that just means you have a cool ass boss that can joke around with you like that. You should be happy youre not in my position working for youre ex-girlfriends brother... She cheated on me and im the ass hole and catch shit at work because its his baby sister. You have no right to say fml. That just means you need to work on a quick whited response to a comment like that like yea your brother or father or son was awesome lastnight unless youre a dude.... That would make it weird. Unless youre comfortable enough in your sexuality to make a gay joke about yourself. It would still make it a little weird but trust me its more awkward for them lol.

Geez, no wonder so many people hate their lives. Can't tell a little joke? Harassment - aggressive pressure or intimidation. ONE small comment made doesn't make for a sexual harassment suit. If the jokes were an everyday thing, always sexual and unwanted even after having an adult conversation with the person saying hey, I don't like that. Ok, yes. Go see HR. But a guy makes one joke and instantly he's sitting on pins and needles waiting to see if he looses his job? People, release your sphincter, take a deep breath and try to enjoy life. Everyone is talking about being professional. How about just talking to the man? If someone says something you find inappropriate just say so! Then, if it continues THAT'S harassment.
