Today, I realized that not only did my parents not get me anything for Christmas, they also stole the $500 my grandparents gave me to buy a computer. FML

Today, I found out that when my parents said they couldn't afford gifts for us kids, what they really meant was that they weren't buying a gift for me. I found this out when I overheard my father telling my uncle about the things he got my siblings. FML

Today, my mom and I went to Best Buy for some Christmas shopping. She picked up some presents for me and told me not to look at what she was buying. When we got to the register, she didn't have enough money, and I ended up having to buy my own presents. FML

Today, I discovered that my parents rooted through our house looking for junk to sell at a garage sale. They sold all of my books from my bookshelf. When I freaked, out my mom said 'well you never read them'. There was about $300 hidden between the pages of those books. They made $60. FML

@ #9-Parents are obligated to feed their children and provide a roof over their heads. It does not justify stealing. It's too bad Santa couldn't bring OP a new family for Christmas.

That sucks. And considering your parents don't seem like the reasonable type, 'talking' to them probably won't help..just sell their stuff online until you get your money back. ;)

Find how much some of your parent's belongings are worth and in a month or so when they forget about what they did, start stealing their stuff. Sneak onto the computer and look up how to make scripts that force the computer to restart when clicked and disguise them as your parent's internet. They'll soon come to terms with the fact that you theft comes with consequences.
