Today, I learned that I've been saying a word wrong my whole life and all my friends have been too polite to correct me, when I found out that "Segue" and "Segway" are pronounced the same. FML

Wait...are you ******* with me right now? I've always said "sooge" (rhymes with Scrooge). I've always thought people liked my sense of humor whenever a discussion got heated, I'd say, "Can we sooge to a new topic?" and they'd laugh. Now I know why.

never seen it spelled out before... ever. if i had pronounced it wrong based on its spelling no one would even know what i was talking about to even be able to correct

I thought segue was pronounced "say gay".
