don't you only get split ends when u use heat on it ? bc it would be pretty hard to straighten your leg hairs

Your hair gets split ends if it's unhealthy. I have split ends and I never use heat on my hair.

I would assume it is easier to get split hairs after a few shaves, just because the hair gets thicker and the thicker the easier they split.

Split ends have nothing to do with how long it's been since you've cut your hair. That being said, the only reason you need to shave is it makes you feel better about yourself.
